1. Proposed Freight Rates for Used Car Transportation from Australia

• FOB Sydney – FOR Ulaanbaatar: USD 3,800 /40’HC (Sea + Rail transport)
  Transit time: 60–70 days

• FOB Sydney – FOT Ulaanbaatar: USD 4,900 /40’HQ (Sea + Truck transport)
  Transit time: 40–45 days

The above freight rates are valid for August and September 2025 and will be determined based on the vessel loading date at the port of departure.

2. Mongoltrans LLC Terminal Service Charges

• Basic service fee for 40’ container: 344,500 MNT + 10% VAT
  (Includes railcar placement/removal, usage, crane lifting, seal, etc.)

• Cargo storage /40’ container/: First 3 days free after unloading at yard,
  from 4th day onwards: 20,000 MNT/day

• Container rental: First 3 days free, from 4th day onwards: USD 20/day

• Passenger car storage at customs control yard: 12,000 MNT/day

• Forklift service for unfastening/unloading: 81,000 MNT/container

3. Costs Not Included in Freight Rates

• Port of loading, documentation, and customs-related fees

• Customs clearance, duties, and taxes at destination

• Cargo insurance

Important Notes:

• Cargo must be properly packed and secured to avoid damage during transportation.
  Mongoltrans will not be liable for damages caused by improper securing.
  The shipper must provide photos of the cargo before dispatch.

• Cargo must be evenly loaded in the container.
  Any additional costs due to unbalanced loading, weight discrepancies, or mismatched documents will be charged to the client.

• The client is responsible for ensuring all shipping documents are complete and accurate.
